Strictly and Hollyoaks favourite Will Mellor shocks fans as he poses with A-list actor and brands him a ‘nice bloke’

Will recently opened up about the future of Two Pints

WILL Mellor left fans stunned as he posed with a huge A-list actor at a Katy Perry concert.

The soap favourite, 48, took to social media to share the snap after attending 40-year-old Katy‘s recent ITV special, Night of a Lifetime.

He shared a snap of him with Orlando Bloom at a recent Katy Perry gig

And former Hollyoaks star Will bumped into Katy’s partner Orlando Bloom in the audience.

The two men posed for a selfie, with Will later writing: “Great to see Orlando Bloom at the Katy Perry gig. Nice bloke.”

Fans rushed to comment on the photo, with one saying: “What a lovely photo of you Will and Orlando – I’m sure he too thought you were a really nice guy.”

Another said: “Amazing what a great photo of you both x.”

Will shot to fame as Jambo Bolton in Hollyoaks in 1995 and has since appeared in EastEnders and Coronation Street.

He also took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2022.

But one of his most popular roles is Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps’ Gaz Wilkinson.

Will played Gaz for 10 years before the series ended in 2011 – but he recently revealed he hopes to find a way to bring the show back.

In an interview with , Will revealed that a reunion special for Two Pints of Lager has nearly come to fruition in the past and that it remains a possibility for the future.

He said: “Nostalgia is a big thing, people grew up with that show, and we did have a script called Two Pints, Last Orders.

“Susan Nickson, the original creator, wrote it, and the BBC said they didn’t want to revisit it. So there is a massive hunger for it.

“People are begging us to really bring it back, and I would always be up for going back there and revisiting it, whether it be a documentary or a one-off special, because it was a massive part of my life and people loved it.

“I would definitely revisit it if there was an opportunity to do so, absolutely.”
