Author behind Blake Lively film speaks out after star’s bombshell sexual harassment claims against co-star

THE author whose book inspired Blake Lively movie It Ends With Us yesterday backed the actress over her claims she was sexually harassed by her co-star.

Colleen Hoover supported Lively in an online post that also included a link to the star’s allegations against Justin Baldoni.

Novelist Colleen said 37-year-old Lively had been “nothing but honest, kind, supportive and patient since the day we met”.

She added: “Thank you for being exactly the human that you are. Never change. Never wilt.”

Gossip Girl actress Lively claims Baldoni fat-shamed her, showed her nude videos and pictures and talked about a previous alleged porn addiction while they were on the set of It Ends With Us.

The mum of four, married to Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds, is said to have asked Baldoni to stop during filming of the movie.

It was released in August and explores themes of domestic violence and emotional abuse.

She also claims to have asked for no additional sex scenes “outside the scope” of the romantic drama’s approved script.

Studio bosses are said to have approved the requests.

But in legal papers filed as part of her lawsuit, Lively claims she has been the victim of a deliberate campaign to smear her reputation after complaining about a toxic environment on set.

She was mocked as being tone deaf to survivors of domestic abuse and for pushing her brands during the film’s promotional tour.

Old footage also resurfaced online that showed her being supposedly rude to interviewers.

Baldoni, 40, who has previously admitted to having an “unhealthy relationship” with porn, has denied all the allegations against him.

His lawyer Bryan Freedman branded the legal action “false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt”.

He said Lively was trying to “fix her negative reputation” after rumours emerged of diva-like behaviour during filming.
