The Voice fans think Lee Nelson stormed the stage last night but he didn’t
THE Voice viewers are convinced that the man who invaded the stage during last night’s live final was serial prankster Lee Nelson – however The Sun Online can confirm that it was not the controversial comedian.
The ITV singing competition was sent into a spin when an unknown man stormed the raised platform holding up a sign as Jamie Miller was booted off.
Fans immediately took to Twitter to ask if it was comedian Lee Nelson – real name Simon Brodkin.
Reality babe Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace asked: “Was that just you @RealLeeNelson on @thevoiceuk stage getting dragged off by security? Come on lad fess up 😂”
While many others added comments such as: “@simonbrodkin was that you who invaded the stage on #thevoiceuk last night? 😂😂” and “Simon Brodkin aka @RealLeeNelson up to his pranks again.. This time it was @thevoiceuk's turn. 😂”

However for once it wasn’t the comedian, who was performing miles away from The Voice’s London studios.
A representative confirmed to The Sun Online: “Simon was performing in Exeter last night.”
Simon hit headlines in 2015 when he stormed Kanye West’s Glastonbury set, was put in prison for throwing $600 at Sepp Blatter during a FIFA press conference, chucked golf balls with swastikas on at Donald Trump, and crashed the X Factor stage when Stereo Kicks were performing in 2014.
The funny man recently admitted that while his pranks don’t make him nervous, they are tough on his wife.
He told The Mirror: “The no-contact time is the worst bit for my wife. I do a stunt and when she can’t get hold of me afterwards, that’s the worry zone, but she’s generally relaxed about it.”
