ANGUS Deayton shot to fame as the host of Have I Got News For You and star of One Foot in the Grave.
Now he's presenting a special show on ITV, Possibly the Best Adverts in the World - here's the lowdown on the TV star.
Who is Angus Deayton?
Angus was born in Banstead, Surrey, on January 6 1956 - and was privately educated at Caterham School.
As a child, the now 61-year-old was a promising sportsman - bagging a trial with Crystal Palace FC and captaining Caterham's under 16 rugby team.
Angus attended New College, Oxford, where he joined the comedy group Oxford Revue - giving him the opportunity to perform at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
What TV programmes has Angus Deayton been in?
He was a key member of the parody band the Hee Bee Gee Bees, founded in 1980, whose songs were penned by Love Actually writer Richard Curtis and composer Philip Pope.
But Angus shot to fame in 1990, when he landed two stand-out jobs.
The first was as the host of Have I Got News For You, a position he held until 2002, the second in sitcom One Foot in the Grave, in which he played Patrick Trench for a decade.
In 2002, The News Of The World broke a story about him snorting cocaine and spending two nights in a hotel with escort Caroline Martin.
He survived the scandal but as Sunday newspapers published claims made by Angus' former mistress Stacy Herbert.
Angus had previously made a name for himself as Rowan Atkinson's right-hand man, appearing in both Mr Bean and Blackadder in the 80s.
In 2004, he appeared in BBC comedy Nighty Night and Angus has done lots of work for Comic and Sport Relief.
He's played in two Soccer Aid matches, in 2006 and 2008, and hosted both Would I Lie To You? and Hell's Kitchen between 2007-09.

He went on to star in Waterloo Road as cynical teacher George Windsor between 2013 and 2015, and also starred in Pramface between 2012 and 2014.
He appeared in Benidorm as a travel guide in 2016.
Is Angus Deayton married?
While at university, Angus was in a relationship with actress Helen Atkinson-Wood.
He saved her life in the 80s, while touring Australia with the Hee Bee Gee Bees, when Helen got caught in a rip tide while swimming off Sydney's Manly Beach.
Angus went on to date singer-songwriter Stephanie de Sykes, and was in a long term relationship with The Young Ones scriptwriter Lise Mayer from 1991-2015.
