Phillip Schofield amazed as woman describes his guardian angel on This Morning
Lorna says she can see guardian angels and has been summoned to heaven to sit on God's lap
PHILLIP Schofield was amazed today when a woman told him she could see his guardian angel live on This Morning.
Rylan Clark-Neal - who was standing in for Holly Willoughby after she called in sick - was also astonished when Lorna Byrne started describing the angels "standing behind them" on today's show.
Before the interview, Phillip admitted he was a bit sceptical about Lorna, who claims she started seeing guardian angels when she was a child and has been summoned to heaven to sit on God's lap.
"I love the idea of this but I do like some proof," Phillip said.
Describing her interactions with angels, Lorna said: "When you touch an angel's hand, you can touch your loved one as well."
She told Phil: "Everyone has the same guardian angels, same as yourselves. I believe you'll get the proof at some stage in your life. Some people are afraid to say they believe in angels or believe in God."
Phillip then asked if she could see his angel and he said: "Yes I can see yours, yours is right behind you but yet so much bigger than you.
"And it's just standing there, the couch isn't in the way or anything like that.
"It's giving a male appearance, angels don't usually give a male or female because they are neither, but they do that at times and I have to smile because it's very hard to describe but it's very, very beautiful.
"It's dressed in a beautiful purple colour, it's not giving me a name. Your guardian angel is not a loved one."
Lorna then focused on Rylan and said: "You have one as well and it's right there and in the same position, right behind you but it has its hands on your shoulders."
She then told Phillip that his angel had a powerful force, saying: "Your one is pushing you forward and I haven't the faintest idea what that is about, it's positive."
Phillip seemed impressed and said: "I like it, I don't want to be sceptical about that, I like that allocated angel, that guiding force."
- This Morning airs weekdays from 10.30am on ITV.
