Holly Willoughby gleefully revels in post-watershed appearance on All Round To Mrs Brown’s as she unleashes rude word
The This Morning star let out her saucy side during a late night appearance on BBC One
HOLLY Willoughby delighted fans on Saturday night with a post-watershed appearance on BBC One.
The 36-year-old This Morning presenter and her co-host Phillip Schofield were star guests on Saturday night entertainment show All Round To Mrs Brown’s.
A sketch before Holly and Phil arrived in Brendan O’Carroll’s Agnes Brown’s house saw the Irish mammy trying to help friend and neighbour Winnie McGoogan with a crossword.
Mrs Brown was dismayed as Winnie answered each question with the word “penis”.
Moments later, Holly found the crossword and, declaring her love for the words based quizzes, offered “penis” as an answer.
Viewers of the hit BBC show were delighted to see Holly showcase her saucy side in contrast to her squeaky clean early morning persona.
“@hollywills just made me laugh saying penis on @artmbtv,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Cant believe @hollywills just said "penis" #AllRoundToMrsBrowns,” wrote another astonished fan.
A further fan wrote: “@Schofe & @hollywills 😂😂😂😂 laughing already penis @artmbtv #AllRoundToMrsBrowns @MrsBrownsBoys”.
Holly and Phil were themselves left cringing during a later segment of the show that saw their mothers join them on Mrs Brown’s sofa.
Lynne Willoughby and Pat Schofield shone as they took the centre spot as Agnes encouraged them to share stories about their famous offspring.
Phillip looked like he wanted the ground to open up and swallow him as his mother revealed his interviewing talent was long established as he used to interview house guests as a child.
Meanwhile Holly was embarrassed by her mum who revealed she didn’t show such early promise.
“She was quite happy under the table with a bit of cotton in her own world. But she used to make wonderful bird boxes,” Lynne said to a baffled Mrs Brown and amused studio audience.
Meanwhile viewers were impressed by Holly and Philip’s mothers and took to Twitter to praise the celebrity's parents.
Some were struck by Holly's likeness for her mother, with one tweeting: "You are so much like your mum Holly."
Another concurred, writing: "Watching All Around to Mrs Brown's and I have to say @hollywills your mum is beautiful and elegant. What a lovely thing to see you together."
Others commented on Phillip's mother's mild mannered nature, with one writing: "Philip Schofield's Mam is so adorable!"
While another felt for Holly and Phil once the embarrassing tales were wheeled out, tweeting: "Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby are literally every single young person when their parents start telling their old stories."
All Round To Mrs Brown's returns to BBC One next Saturday at 9.15pm where guests will include Pixie Lott, Kevin Bridges, and Ross Kemp.
