Gino allegedly faced "several complaints" before he was quietly dropped from the show last year.

A source told the : "It looks more and more as if there has been a cover-up by ITV and the production company.

Gino previously claimed he quit because he did not want "stressful" contract talks to ruin his friendships with Ramsay and Sirieix.

But it is claimed Gino faced the axe after allegedly refusing to sign a "morality clause" in his contract.

A woman reportedly lodged a complaint with ITV earlier this month - accusing Gino of inappropriate behaviour over a five-year period.

The woman worked with Gino between 2006 and 2011 on This Morning and on Saturday Cooks!

It is believed ITV have ordered Gino to complete a language and behaviour course.

He was reportedly told to do the course after complaints over his treatment of female colleagues on his new show Emission Impossible.

Filming was allegedly halted after crew complained about Gino's inappropriate jokes behind the scenes, sources said.

Some crew members were allegedly offered counselling after filming wrapped.

In a statement, Gino said: "I have been completely shocked by, and deny utterly, these awful accusations of sexual harassment and misconduct against me.

"They are alleged to have taken place years ago during the shooting of Gordon, Gino & Fred.

"Let me be clear: This did not happen. I take such matters extremely seriously.

"In particular the suggestion that I have deliberately acted in this improper way against any female employees is deeply upsetting."
