James Haskell reveals he will spend Christmas with Chloe Madeley despite their shock split

The former couple are putting aside their differences for their daughter Bodhi

CHLOE Madeley will spend Christmas with her ex-husband James Haskell.

Chloe and James, who share daughter Bodhi, three, are choosing to spend the morning together on Christmas Day as they continue to successfully co-parent.

: "We're going to be together on Christmas morning and we'll do all the stuff we do as usual, and then I'll go off to my house and Chloe will go to her parents.

"We're trying to make it as easy as possible. And because I've just moved into my house, I'm with my parents and I'm treating my parents to Christmas dinner made by someone else.

"I'm a nightmare in the kitchen and I don't have all the utensils so I'm making it easier on everyone by getting someone else to make it."

Chloe and the former rugby union ace, 39, announced the end of their five-year marriage in October.

Personal trainer Chloe, 37, defended James after he faced bad-mouthing from fans amid their separation.

She told The Sun on Sunday: “I actually feel a bit sorry for him.

“There’s kind of like a heavy insinuation that he’s not a nice guy.

"But we’re co-parenting really well, and 50 per cent of that accolade is on him.

The ex-model, who first got together with James in 2015, admitted of their relationship: “It got to a point where it was completely miserable. It was bleak. And very hard.

“Going through a break-up is tough, but compared to staying in that ­situation, it was absolutely the right decision. James and I both feel a million times better for it.”

The daughter of telly legends ­Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan admitted that spending time with her ­parents every weekend pulled her out of my lowest point.
