Fury as touts flog Taylor Swift’s new £35 book for £200 online after it sold out in under 180 seconds

TAYLOR Swift fans are being charged £200-plus online for her new £35 book after it sold out in under 180 seconds.

Second-hand copies of her Eras Tour Book appeared for resale almost immediately.

Some have been listed on eBay for as much as £235 and dozens of sellers are asking for far more than the £35 RRP.

Taylor and her team had limited sales of the book in the UK to two per person to curb resales.

But all were snapped up in less than three minutes after Saturday’s launch — despite fans dubbing it the “Errors Tour Book” due to mistakes including upside-down pages, bad grammar and blurry pictures.

The 256-page book features 500 new images from the US performer’s record-breaking tour, as well as notes from Taylor about life on the road.

On its release in the US last week, it became the fastest-selling non-fiction book of the past decade.

Official stats this week are expected to show it repeated the feat here. But UK Swifties have told of their anger about cash-grabbing resellers online.

One wrote: “I missed out and suddenly they are on eBay five times the price.

“I just wanted one for my daughter.”

Another added: “Please can Taylor restock The Eras Tour Book — so many of us had it in our basket for it to then say it was sold out before paying.”

Last night, Taylor ended her 149-show Eras Tour in Vancouver, Canada.

It is the highest-grossing tour ever — raising more than £1.52billion in ticket sales alone. It included a record eight sold out shows at Wembley.
