Couch potatoes who caught both shows might have been wondering whether today marked some kind of national duck egg blue festival.

Followers of Holly, 36, will known always plans her outfits carefully and posts an Instagram picture of her This Morning garb each day, apparently without consulting Ms Reid.

This morning 46-year-old Susanna put her look on Instagram too, and was met with wave after wave of compliments from her 60,700 followers.

"If there is a classier more gorgeous lady on TV here I've yet to see her," one wrote, while another added: "Woah the MILF".

But it wasn't just these ladies engaged in a colour war on Thursday morning, as their male co-presenters Ben Shephard and Phillip Schofield both went for a pale pink shade too in their tie and shirt respectively.
