CALUM Best's upcoming movie Dangerous Game has already been torn to shreds for its Z-List cast, dodgy accents and laughable plot.

George Best's lothario son stars as a Premier League striker forced to commit crimes by the Russian mafia, with Katie Price's ex Alex Reid and glamour model Lucy Pinder in supporting roles.

But three months ahead of its release, the film has been branded "a practical joke with a bunch of Z-listers chucked in for a laugh".

Cinephiles are not holding out much hope for the performances, which include a turn as a Russian mob boss by actor and reality TV regular Darren Day.

Towie star Ricky Rayment and Sky football analyst Chris Kamara also show up in the film, which has been described as a "lads' movie with something for everyone".

In one bizarre scene, former Celebrity Big Brother star Calum is seen robbing a shoe shop wearing a Gary Lineker mask.

"Why would a Premier League footballer perform an armed robbery? It just doesn't make sense," an insightful character later remarks.

One unimpressed commenter on the trailer blasted: "They will be lucky to get the fiver back that this film cost to make."

A second wrote: "Darren Day with a Russian accent? Priceless."

Another agreed, writing: "Is this film actually real?

7

"It feels like a practical joke with a bunch of Z-listers chucked in for a laugh.

"Worst. Film. Ever," they added.

Fans of footie movies are saying this may even be worse than United Passions, the 2014 turkey starring Tim Roth.

Dangerous Game is out on June 16.
