Victoria Beckham joins James Corden for Carpool Karaoke
Former Spice Girl Victoria is the latest celebrity to join James in his car for the hilarious singing segment
VICTORIA Beckham has teamed up with James Corden for an episode of Carpool Karaoke.
The popstar turned fashion designer shared a video of herself in James’ famous car for the popular segment of The Late Late Show.
Giving her fans a rare smile, Victoria beamed into the camera before panning around to show James.
The TV star couldn’t stop grinning as he hopped into the driving seat and motored around town with the famous mother-of-four.
Before they started filming, Victoria shared snaps of herself getting ready for the show with her hairdresser Ken Paves.
She then told her followers: “So we’re here about to film Carpool Karaoke.”
Victoria is a massive fan of the show, praising James as a genius when he managed to get Adele into his car for the slot.
It’s likely the pair will sing along to some of Victoria’s best Spice Girl hits and possibly some of her own tunes – including her infamous duet with Dane Bowers Out Of Your Mind.
Earlier this year The Sun revealed how Victoria had turned down the opportunity to reunite with her old bandmates.
Victoria rafted in lawyers to stop Geri Horner, Mel B and Emma Bunton performing the group’s glittering back catalogue.
It left in tatters the trio’s plans for a major arena comeback tour and potential new material.
A source said: “The girls are devastated. It is an extremely sad way for things to end.”
Last year Victoria hinted there were serious problems in the Spice camp when she suggested she did not think Mel, Geri and Emma should refer to themselves as the Spice Girls.
When asked in an interview with Claudia Winkleman if she wished her old bandmates luck, she said: “Of course, as a new group, I do.
“I do think they should sing their own material though, because what we did in the Spice Girls was so special. If they sang Spice Girls songs I think I might be a bit sad.”
Posh holds joint writing credits on the band’s string of chart-toppers, including 2 Become 1, Say You’ll Be There and Spice Up Your Life.
A source said: “The girls are devastated. Victoria was a huge part of their lives and now she is using lawyers to block their comeback.
“Victoria is proud of her Spice Girls history but this suggests she wants to cut all links with the group which transformed her life.
“She is resorting to aggressive legal letters and it is an extremely sad way for things to end after all they have been through together.”
