Rita Ora up for huge Marvel film role after impressing Hollywood bosses
Rita reveals she will be playing 'someone evil'
SHE honed her skills as a baddie in fantasy comedy Descendants: The Rise Of Red earlier this summer.
And now Rita Ora is lining up her next big challenge . . . this time in a Marvel film.

A friend of mine was rubbing shoulders with the singer at the British Fashion Awards when they overheard Rita chatting about her new role.
They told me: “Rita was dressed like a baddie from a Marvel film, and when someone commented on it she let slip she has a part in a new Marvel film.
“She confirmed she had landed the role of someone evil and that she was super excited about getting stuck into it.”
Rita’s husband Taika Waititi has previously directed two Marvel films, including Thor: Love And Thunder in 2022 – so I’d bet my last quid he is at the helm of her new movie.

I revealed earlier this year how Rita had parted ways with her long-time music manager Sarah Stennett to focus on new projects, and it seems being on screen is now at the top of her agenda.

OLIVIA RODRIGO was literally spotted on the subway in New York.
The Vampire singer looked sultry in a polka dot dress and red lip stick as she made use of the suspiciously empty carriage to posed for a series of snaps.
Olivia is rumoured to be one of the stars playing Glastonbury next summer.

She made her debut at Worthy Farm in 2022, bringing out Lily Allen, much to the crowd’s delight.

Newckie downer for Zayn

ZAYN MALIK was forced to cancel the Newcastle date of his tour after struggling with his vocals.
But the former One Direction singer was due back on stage last night in Manchester, one day after.
Zayn said he was devastated to pull the plug on the show, and a snapper friend of mine, who was at the City Hall in Newcastle, said he only chose to call it off at the very last minute.
They told me: “Zayn’s tour bus arrived not long before he was due on stage. A team of security guards got out by the stage door and put umbrellas up to shield him from people who had crowded to see him.
“They must have stood there for almost half an hour before the bus drove off around 9.15pm.
“Zayn’s fans were then told what was happening. It was really sad.”
Lance hints at reunion

AFTER the NSYNC reunion rumours died a death, Lance Bass has now said their plans to get back together are still on the boil.
Opening up about getting back together with Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick – Lance said: “The last two years have been great for the group because we haven’t done anything in two decades, but we got together to do the Trolls movie, and then all of a sudden Deadpool uses Bye Bye Bye.
“It’s just something’s in the air right now with our group and our fans have gone a little nuts, and the younger generation, this Gen Z, has now figured out who we are.”
Speaking on the Politickin podcast, Lance added: “Fingers crossed, we give the fans a little something, something. I would enjoy that.”
Suri splits with Toby

SURI CRUISE has split from her musician boyfriend Toby Cohen after their whirlwind romance.
The pair went public in the summer, with Toby going as Suri’s date to her prom.
But pals said they have quietly ended their romance after returning to college.
Toby has now started writing about their split and released a snippet of a track with the lyrics: “Don’t say you miss mess cause I miss me too.
“Our past ain’t history, cause the lies were true.”
