EMMERDALE actor and I’m A Celebrity star Adam Thomas is quitting the soap after nearly eight years.
Adam, 28, will be written out of the show in late 2017.
It is thought Adam , runner-up in I’m A Celebrity last year, wants to host his own show.

His exit follows those of stars Kelvin Fletcher , 33, Gemma Atkinson , 32, and Bill Ward , 49, in the past 12 months.
A source said: “Adam’s had a great time but he’s spent eight years in the Dales and thinks the time is right.
“It’s a headache for bosses as he’s a recognisable face, especially after I’m A Celebrity.”

Adam, brother of former Corrie star Ryan Thomas , shot to fame during three years as Donte Charles in BBC drama Waterloo Road.
In 2009 he joined Emmerdale as Adam Barton.
