80s music legend announces rescheduled tour dates as he delays shows by a YEAR

AN 80s music legend has rescheduled tour dates and delayed his upcoming shows by a YEAR.

The 70-year-old was supposed to return to the stage as part of his Antmusic Tour this year.

Adam Ant was due to perform in various locations across the UK in 2024 - but now the tour will be taking place in autumn 2025.

It will start on 23 October 2025.

There are also six new dates for fans to enjoy in Bournemouth, Cardiff, Basingstoke, Watford, Portsmouth and Milton Keynes.

In a statement, Adam said: "Performing live brings me such personal joy.

Five weeks ago Adam took to Instagram to share the devastating news that we was postponing this year's tour.

He said: "Dear all, it is with deep regret that I am postponing and rescheduling the ANTMUSIC 2024 tour.

"As you know, I have missed the shows this past week due to ill health.

"Performing live brings me such personal joy and I'm so disappointed that at this moment in time, I am unable to.

"There will be an annoucement next week as my team work out the new dates, so please hold on to your tickets as they will be valid for the new shows.

"Good news is we hope to add extra shows and additional venues as well, and make the next tour bigger and better.

"I love you all and thank you for all your kind messages over this past week."

He was forced to postpone gigs Liverpool, Guildford, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Southend, Cambridge.

This was due to an inflamed throat.

Fans rushed to social media to share messages of support.

One said: "Please get well soon, Adam. Your health comes first and your fans know and understand that."
