Zayn Malik fans left in floods of tears as One Direction star cancels gig and tells fans ‘my voice isn’t there’
ZAYN Malik fans were left in flood of tears as the former One Direction cancelled a gig saying his voice 'just isn't there'.
The singer, 31, had been due to perform at Newcastle City Hall tonight (December 3).
Fans in attendance were disappointed, however, after Zayn did not appear.
Taking to his Instagram story, Zayn explained he had lost his voice.
The star posted: "I'm so sorry to do this but my voice just isn't there at all tonight and without it there's no show.
"I'm truly sorry to let you down, especially at such short notice... I held onto hope until the very last moment.

"I'm hopeful with some rest tonight I'll be back on stage tomorrow.
"My deepest apologies Newcastle. Love you all xx."
One fan wrote on X: "the stage was SET. the openers also performed.
"inzayn and zayn both were posting?
"WHAT HAPPENED that they had to cancel last minute. im so worried."
Another added: "I really hope zayn's ok omg."
While a third commented: "WE LOVE YOU ZAYN."
Zayn recently paid an emotional tribute to late bandmate Liam Payne.
It followed Liam being laid to rest after he fell from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
As Zayn began his solo tour, Stairway to the Sky, fans were left sobbing after a heartfelt remembrance.
A large blue screen had a message reading "Liam Payne 1993-2024. Love you bro."
