David Beckham fans report advert after spotting ‘deadly’ way star cooks his Christmas turkey
APPLIANCE firm Ninja has been roasted over an ad where David Beckham appears to risk death by cooking a turkey in a kitchen using a wood-fired oven designed for outdoor use.
One YouTube viewer said they had reported the 30-second clip to the Advertising Standards Authority.
On X, Ninja confirmed the £350 electric gizmo cannot be used inside.
A user guide warns: “DO NOT use indoors.
"If used under overhead cover, toxic fumes, including carbon monoxide, may accumulate and cause serious bodily injury or death.”
The Advertising Standards Authority confirmed a handful of complaints claiming the ad is misleading were being “carefully assessed”.

A Ninja spokesperson said: “David Beckham was cooking in an outdoor kitchen during the filming of this advert, in compliance with the Woodfire Outdoor Oven’s usage instructions.
“The advert was cleared by Clearcast before airing."
Ninja’s Outdoor Oven features eight cooking functions including a wood pellet BBQ smoker and reaches high heat roasting temperatures of 370C.
Ex-Man United and Real Madrid ace Becks, 49, is the face of Ninja’s latest campaign after signing a lucrative £1million deal.
Last year’s Netflix documentary saw Becks speak of enjoying evenings pottering around in his £50,000 barbecue tent.
He said: “It’s my escape. I’m in here from 11 to 9/10 o’clock at night, sometimes later, just grilling.
"That’s all I do.”
