A NOUGHTIES hip hop group looked almost unrecognisable as they reunited for a TikTok live stream.

Formed in 2001, Big Brovaz is an R&B and hip-hop music group from London, with the popular hitmakers reuniting recently 22 years after their chart hits.

In their seven-year career, the band released two studio albums and eight singles.

There were three line-up changes during their seven-year-long career, with two of the original members leaving halfway through.

Known for their hits like Baby Boy, Ain’t What You Do, Nu Flow, OK, Favourite Things, and Thank You, fans of the hip-hop group were overjoyed to see them come together again recently.

Over the weekend, the band reunited for a special one-off live stream on TikTok with DJ AG.

Making a shock appearance at King’s Cross, the iconic band looked as youthful as ever as they crooned some of their biggest hits in front of a packed crowd on the street.

Commenting on the new TikTok video of the band, one person said, “THEY SOUND EXACT SAME!!!!! Nah, I can’t believe this, AG has me living my teens again.”

Another then swooned, “Whoooo loved Big Brovaz.”

“The ladies’ voices amazing amazing. Still sound the same! Rah, memories,” said a third, while a fourth added, “Why did I just tear up watching this?”

“The ladies look exactly the same n they’re smiles are gorgeous,” said a fifth.

‘WHERE HAVE THEY BEEN HIDING?’

While a sixth said, “Where have they been hiding? Good to see you again!”

REUNION RUMOURS

The R&B group was actually in talks to appear on the second series of ITV2’s The Big Reunion back in 2013.

Big Brovaz Band Lineup

Big Brovaz had varying members over the years that they were actively on the music scene. But who has been in the hip-hop band over the years?

Dion

Dion still sings, and her Instagram page states: “I sing, I write, I produce. Formerly of Big Brovaz.”

Nadia

Nadia Shepherd was one of the three girls in the original band lineup alongside Cherise and Dion.

Cherise

The former Big Brovaz continued her career with Nadia in the girl band Booty Luv.

Randy

After leaving the band, Randy teamed up with fellow Big Brovaz alum J-Rock, and the pair started their band named Party Dark.

J-Rock

As well as singing in the band Party Dark with Randy, J-Rock has turned his attention to fatherhood since leaving the band.

Flawless

Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Flawless, aka Tayo Aisida was a member of the MOBO award-winning band, with not much reported on them since they left the band.

The show followed nostalgic pop groups from the 90s and noughties as they reunited on screen.

But the band did not take part in The Big Reunion, with them instead reuniting when appearing on a Big Brother spin-off show a year later.

In 2014, Big Brovaz made a surprise comeback for Celebrity Big Brother’s launch at the time.

Four of the original six members appeared on Channel 5’s Bit on the Side, performing their beloved hit Nu Flow.

The band initially split in 2007, but some members did reunite in 2012 for an Australian tour with S Club 7.
