The Loose Women star and mum of five revealed she's been left "so angry" by the shock comments online
KATIE Price and son Harvey have thanked their supporters on their petition to the Government to tackle online bullying as it hits 100,000 signatures.
Speaking from their holiday getaway in the Maldives, Katie posted a video on Instagram to share her delight that the petition will now be considered for debate in the Houses of Parliament after hitting the staggering number required.
In the video, she said: "Hey guys, I can't tell you how happy I am. We've got over 100,00 signatures already for my petition, I'm so happy. Thank you so much.
She then urged: "Please keep signing the petition. The more we get, the more can make an effect to these bullies and trolls.
"Let's make it a criminal offence for them. Keep it up!"
She then turns to Harvey and says that she's doing it for him because she loves him so much before giving him a kiss.
In order to garner support for the petition, Katie shared some of the shocking messages she's received from trolls targeting her disabled son Harvey.
She shared some of the horrific memes and messages she's received on Instagram, to prove how important it is to stop the trolls in their tracks.
While some of the posts show a young Harvey with words printed across his face, more show him edited into awful memes.
Katie captioned one: "This is totally wrong please sign my ."
She then added: "People that have time for this should be banned from social media. Let's stop this happening please get behind the petition."
And on another she wrote: "THIS MAKES ME SO ANGRY!"
The former glamour model has pleaded with fans to back her up in her effort to stop trolls once and for all, and is now calling on the Government to take action.
The star gained more than 500 signatures within MINUTES of posting it online, and it's already gone up to tens of thousands, with fellow celebrities including Rebekah Vardy retweeting it.
The petition, named "Make online abuse a specific criminal offence and create a register of offenders", was set up by Katie herself and remains open until September this year.
Sharing a video with Harvey on holiday, Katie begged fans to help her, and admitted her relief that Harvey couldn't "understand" the hurtful comments himself.
Pointing out trolls have often sparked suicide, Katie sent a hard-hitting message to her follows, and insisted they needed to act now.
She went on to share screenshots of some of the shocking messages she had received about Harvey online, naming and shaming the trolls.
Meanwhile, a description for it reads: "Trolling is a major problem in this day and age. People of all ages and background suffer every day, including my family - especially my son Harvey.
"I have tried my best to expose people and even had two arrested but nothing was done and there were no repercussions or penalties for this behaviour."
She added: "This does not affect just high profile people it affects everyone from every walk of life from young children, teenagers, people at work, husbands and wives.
"This abuse includes racism, homophobia, body shaming and a whole range of other hate speech.
"This petition is an important topical issue and I want it to help bring justice to everyone who has ever suffered at the hands of trolls. Help me to hammer home worldwide that bullying is unacceptable whether it's face to face or in an online space."
It came just hours after Katie shared an adorable video of Harvey online as they enjoy a family holiday in the Maldives together.
