Jeremy McConnell accuses Stephanie Davis of ‘putting a hit out on him’ in cryptic social media posts
JEREMY McConnell has accused Stephanie Davis of "putting a hit" out on him in a series of cryptic social media posts.
The Irish model shared a worrying tweet and a screen shot of what appeared to be text messages about guns from Steph's mum, Pauline,
Jeremy took to Twitter last night to post a worrying message in which he suggested her family are out to get him.
There is no evidence to support his claims.
He wrote: "People saying hits on my head by Steph."
Jez, 27, also uploaded a picture of himself to Snapchat which was captioned with a upset face emoji and a gun.
It was part of a shocking sequence of videos in which he asked a pal whether someone is trying to hurt him.
In the clip, Jez, is heard saying to his pal: "Is someone trying to kill me tonight?"
Along with the worrying image, he shared a screenshot which appeared to show text messages from Steph's mum Pauline.
The identity of the other party in the message exchange was not clear, but the texts stated: "There guns etc... scary..."
Fans have been shocked by the tattooed hunk's sensational claims, and they flocked to Twitter to express their concerns.
One branded Jez "paranoid" and another urged him to seek help, while many couldn't understand what he was trying to say.

The Sun Online contacted a representative for Jeremy, but they declined to comment.
Jez's cryptic social media posts came shortly after he shared a video of himself playing with Caben-Albi, the newborn son he shares with Steph, 24.
The throwback was uploaded hours after Steph went on a social media spree herself, condemning her ex-boyfriend in a series of furious tweets.
Stephanie admitted she's "emotionally and mentally drained" after pleading with Jez to get help.
She later thanked fans for their support, and admitted she feels "drained" by the outburst.
Steph wrote: "Emotionally and mentally drained.Time for a change. Madness how much u can help someone to just have it thrown back in your face. Thanks for all the support."
The former Hollyoaks actress took to Twitter to speak about their relationship in a string of now-deleted tweets.
She defended him by saying that she "won't have anyone say anything bad said about him" and claimed that he pulled out of doing Ex On The Beach because of her and Caben Albi.
But earlier The Sun Online revealed that the MTV show's bosses decided to ditch him after he was arrested on suspicion of assaulting Steph.
Steph, 24, began the stream of tweets by writing: "Jeremy knows he's done wrong. To do what he did to the mother of his child, he knows isn't right."
The actress then tweeted that "u can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped" and claimed that when she had tried to help him it had "been thrown in [her] face".
She also revealed that Jeremy had blocked her on Twitter but that she would "always be there for Jeremy" and said that he "needs to help himself".
Steph went on to describe the situation as "devastating" but reiterated that she would "always stand by him".
She added: "I hope he comes back to the person I fell in love with."
It's believed Jeremy, 27, is back in Dublin after flying back to Liverpool earlier this month for questioning.
He was arrested and released pending further inquiries.
The tattooed hunk denied “any wrong doing” in a statement released by his representatives, who insisted Jez will be “fully cooperating with the police in their investigations”.
Steph is said to have made a tearful statement to police officers following the alleged bust-up, which seemingly put an end to their rocky on/off romance.
Jez and Steph ended their turbulent last year shortly before the actress confirmed she was pregnant.
They were then caught up in a bitter war of words as Jez claimed he could not be the father of the baby - and he later offered to take a DNA test.
The couple got back together after Jeremy was confirmed as the dad and they spent two weeks picking up where they left off before splitting again.
