Despite this, Faryal appeared more than happy to pose in the nude, bodysuit which hugged every inch of her curves.

Starring into the distance, the 25-year-old – who married Amir in 2013 – appeared defiant.

Her followers flooded the photograph on Instagram with positive messages.

One wrote: “Kim Kardashian inspired!”

Another commented: “I’m loving your dress sense.”

Amir’s family may think differently however, as Amir’s father Sajad has previously spoken of his distaste at her dress code.

He said: “Faryal was adopting a dress code which in the Islamic faith was not acceptable. I am a father to two daughters whom I have treated exactly the same way as I have treated Faryal.

“All this started with the issue of dressing. We kept asking Amir to tell her not to adopt such a dress code. And even if she had to wear such dresses, please don’t post it on social media.”

Earlier this month Faryal gave a damming interview where she spilled the beans on living in the “backward” city of Bolton.

She also spoke with the about her relationship with her in-laws and how she goes against what they expect from her as a daughter-in-law.

She told : “In my head, living with my new husband was going to be this fairytale, but it was hard and I didn’t have any friends.

“Bolton is very backward. Compared to New York, it’s a village.”

Speaking about Amir’s mother Felak, Faryal continued: “"I want to see more British Pakistani Muslim women speaking up for themselves, getting out there and doing something.

“Then, eventually, the stereotype – this idea of what a daughter-in-law should be – will die off.”
