Sarah Greene wants to get Gordon the Gopher out of rehab to celebrate Going Live!’s 30th anniversary with Phillip Schofield
Former Blue Peter star Sarah has shared her hopes for a revival with the This Morning host
SARAH Greene has revealed her hopes to bring Gordon the Gopher out of rehab to celebrate Going Live!'s 30th anniversary with Phillip Schofield.
The TV star, 58, has remained good friends with her former co-host, even appearing on This Morning with him this week, and now hopes to welcome him back for a This Morning/Going Live! mash-up.
The TV show was broadcast on BBC One from 1987 and 1993, and Sarah hasn't ruled out the possibility of reprising her role in it.
Speaking to Best magazine, she said: "I don't know... We could host a This Morning/Going Live! mash-up to celebrate! Break Gordon the Gopher out of rehab, bring back Trevor and Simon.
"It'd be hilarious to co-host with Phillip. We're still good friends."
She added: "I went out with Phil and his wife, Steph, a few months ago, and we're having dinner in a couple of weeks. He was fabulous to work with."
Elsewhere, Sarah opened up on coming to terms with her grief after both her parents and husband Mike died within just four years of each other.
She's now moved on with a new partner, and admitted she still dreams about her late husband.
As well as her hopes for a TV show revival, Sarah's fans have also called for her to appear on Loose Women in the future.
And the star admitted she'd love to be a "moderator" on the show, following discussions in the past.
"I like to draw back the curtain on a person or subject", she added.
