Cheryl celebrates her first Mother’s Day after welcoming a baby boy with Liam Payne as fans flood Twitter with congratulations
CHERYL is celebrating her first Mother's Day as a new mum just days after welcoming her first child with Liam Payne.
The former Girls Aloud star became a first-time mum on Wednesday, and now is celebrating the annual holiday in a whole new way.
The Sun revealed Cheryl, 33, and Liam, 23, are besotted with the new son after they revealed the baby news last night.
Liam paid tribute to Cheryl as an amazing mum shortly before the family came together to celebrate Mother's Day today.
In a post on Instagram, Liam wrote: "I’m completely in awe of this incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true."
Cheryl shared her own Mother's Day message on Instagram, revealing the day has a new meaning for her now.
She wrote: "Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers around the world.
"A day that now has a different meaning to me forever."
Fans have also flocked to Twitter to wish Cheryl a happy Mother's Day today.
One wrote: "@CherylOfficial happy 1st Mother's Day beautiful... you deserve nothing more than love today..."

Celebrity pals including Cheryl's Girls Aloud bandmates have added their congratulations, along with Liam's family members.
The former Girls Aloud singer shared a run down of her favourite tracks for the big day, and included tracks from East 17 and the Spice Girls.
Songs on the playlist include You Might Need Somebody by Shola Ama, A Song For Mama by Boyz II Men and Frankie Valli’s Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.
Cheryl gave birth to her little boy on Wednesday at London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and couple will have paid up to £8,520 for their luxury private suite.
The couple could now be turning their thoughts to marriage amid reports that Liam is planning to propose to Cheryl now she is a new mum.
