The Chase stars speechless after winning Let’s Sing and Dance for Comic Relief – but are more concerned about their loose shoelaces than the prize
LET’S Sing and Dance for Comic Relief saw The Chasers from ITV’s The Chase crowned winner of the BBC One charity competition show.
Viewers were thrilled as quiz masters Mark Labbett (aka The Beast), Anne Hegerty (otherwise known as The Governess), Shaun Wallace (aka The Dark Destroyer) and Jenny Ryan (code name The Vixen) won the talent show.
Holby City and Casualty stars Chizzy Akudolu, Tony Marshall and Amanda Henderson, came second after performing Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars.
But it was The Chase stars who ran off with the crown after the public were blown away by their rendition of songs from The Wizard of Oz.

The show saw The Beast as the cowardly lion, The Governess as the Scarecrow, The Dark Destroyer as the Tin Man, and The Vixen as Dorothy Gale in a fun homage to the classic 1939.
As the stars were revealed to be the winners of the 2017 competition they seemed completely lost for words.
And, in fact, only The Governess spoke when asked by Mel Giedroyc how the group felt about winning - however her winning words were only: "My shoelace is undone".
Fans felt the right celebrities won the show and flooded Twitter with enthusiastic comments.
"Well done Chasers. Well deserved win because you're not from an acting/performance background," wrote one impressed fan.
"Well done chasers! Only time I've ever wanted you to win!" another wrote.
Indeed, even those who didn't support the Chasers felt the right people won - with one viewer tweeting: "Well done Chasers. Not my favourites, but that was personal taste. They were really good."
Let's Sing and Dance for Comic Relief was part of the 2017 efforts to raise funds for the charity Comic Relief.
The main night of fundraising took place on March 24 - with the sequel to Love Actually and a huge talkshow with Graham Norton proving to be highlights of the night.
By the end of the Sing and Dance finale, over £71 million pounds had been raised for the charity which helps those in need in the UK and and abroad with a mission to end poverty around the world.
