Quincy Jones’ cause of death revealed after music legend dies aged 91
MUSIC legend Quincy Jones' cause of death has been revealed.
The super producer's death certificate states he died from pancreatic cancer aged 91, according to TMZ.
The certificate was issued by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and has been made public 10 days after Jones' death.
Over an illustrious 70 year career, the producer and composer won 28 Grammy awards.
He had a long list of well-known music credits, including as the producer of Michael Jackson's Thriller album.
His publicist, Arnold Robinson, confirmed his death at his Los Angeles home on Sunday surrounded by family.

In a statement, his family said, "Tonight, with full but broken hearts, we must share the news of our father and brother Quincy Jones' passing.
"And although this is an incredible loss for our family, we celebrate the great life that he lived and know there will never be another like him."
Jones worked as a record producer, songwriter, and composer, as well as a film and television producer.
He was married three times and had seven children, including actress Rashida Jones, best known for her roles on NBC as Karen Filippelli on The Office and Ann Perkins in Parks and Recreation.
Jones was born in Chicago and in 1953, aged 20, went on a jazz tour with the Hampton orchestra.
He then went on to work in TV in New York City and later supported rock icon Elvis Presley in a studio band.
Lionel Richie, who worked on the charity song We Are The World with Jones, described him as "the master orchestrator."
Time magazine dubbed him one of the most influential jazz musicians of the 20th century.
Yesterday, Jones posted a heartfelt birthday tribute to his daughter Tina.
"Happy Birthday to my Tina Beena!!" he wrote.
Symptoms of pancreatic cancer
PANCREATIC cancer doesn't always cause symptoms in its early stages.
As the cancer grows and you do begin to show signs, these may come and go and be unspecific, making it hard to diagnose, according to .
Common symptoms include:
- Indigestion - a painful, burning feeling in your chest with an unpleasant taste in your mouth
- Tummy or back pain - it may start as general discomfort or tenderness in the tummy area and spread to the back, which get worse lying down and feel better is you sit forward
- Diarrhoea and constipation - see a GP if you have runny poos for more than seven days, especially if you've lost weight as well
- Steatorrhoea - pale, oily poo that's bulky, smells horrible and floats, making it hard to flush
- Losing a lot of weight without meaning to
- Jaundice - yellow skin and eyes, as well as dark pee, pale poo and itchy skin

The dad-of-seven was married to Jeri Caldwell, Ulla Andersson, and Peggy Lipton.
One of his sons, Quincy Jones III, also works as a music producer.
