EastEnders star Kellie Bright spotted with husband Paul Stocker and baby Gene for the first time since opening up about health scare
The actress was seen out and about with her partner and her second child
EastEnders actress Kellie Bright was seen out with her baby Gene and husband Paul Stocker for the first time since she gave birth last year.
The actress and her partner were seen making their way through London with their five-month-old son just weeks after revealing the scary time they ensured when their second child ended up being hooked up to a ventilator.
However, they had a little scare recently when Gene had to remain in hospital for three days and be hooked up to a ventilator after he contracted bronchiolitis, a respiratory tract infection that affects babies and young children under two years old.
She explained; “He had a nasty cough but the doctor assured me he’d be fine. Then suddenly he went downhill so we rushed him to hospital.
“He had to spend a few nights in hospital on oxygen but he’s home now and on the road to recovery.”
The 40-year-old actress, who plays Linda Carter on the BBC soap, was worried how her five-year-old son Freddy would react to being a big brother but she said he dotes over baby Gene.
While it’s only been a few months since her latest arrival, Kellie admitted she’s already thinking about having baby number three.
She said: “I said right away in the delivery room that I want another baby. I don’t feel ready to shut the door on motherhood just yet.”
The actress met Paul nine years ago when he was just 24 and she was 31. They married in 2014 but split up for two months before their wedding.
But she claimed that she realised she’d made a serious mistake and the couple decided to travel and move in together before making it official.
