Geordie Shore bosses considering ONE more newbie joining the show after it’s revealed Abbie Holborn WILL join the cast permanently
GEORDIE Shore could be getting more than one permanent new recruit following the upcoming series.
Initially, only one of eight new hopefuls was set to be kept on as they battled it out to join the existing cast over 12 eventful episodes.
However, a show insider told The Sun Online: "All the newbies brought something different to the table.
"There might not be one, there might be two. Nothing's set in stone, never say never.
"Even the existing cast members don't know who's been selected."
The Sun Online has contacted a representative for the show for comment.
It was previously revealed that Abbie Holborn had impressed the cast and crew alike with her bubbly personality and chemistry with co-star Aaron Chalmers, and had been offered the chance to reappear on the show.
A source said: “Abbie made an amazing impression on all the cast and the crew who film the show.
“Abbie is stunning and could be a real heart-breaker."
Meanwhile, SunOnline recently spoke to the newbies at a press day for the new series.

She said: "I would be exactly the same, it's just girls isn't it. It's not gonna be nice, but I think it was very good that we did overcome it. It could have gone the other way, and we could have been at each other's throats. We're good friends now."
Viewers can expect some wild antics from Chelsea Barber, with the busty beauty admitting she can't handle her booze.
"I go nuts when I go out," she revealed. "I get to a level and then go like ten steps past it. It just happens so easy, especially when you're a lightweight like me. It's hard to reign it in once you get past the level. And I go out a little bit too much I think. "
While she insisted she didn't have a crush on Scotty T, she said she could see why he was so successful with the ladies.
She explained: "I can see why girls are so easily attracted to him because he's so cocky, but it's in a funny way. It is attractive to girls.
Turning to Scotty, she added: "Literally, I don't think there's much you could say to a girl that's going to put them off. Girls love ya."
The brand new season of Geordie Shore begins on the 28th March at 10pm on MTV.
