Strictly star Ed Balls cast for re-make of famous La La Land opening scene … in aid of Comic Relief

LA La Land is set to go Balls-up for a second time - after casting Strictly star Ed in a re-make of the musical just weeks on from its Oscars fiasco.

The former shadow chancellor, 50, has dusted off his dance shoes to recreate the famous all-dancing motorway opening scene from the Hollywood smash - but thankfully it’s just for Comic Relief.

The BBC closed a road down in London and had celebs including Lenny Henry, Miranda Hart, Warwick Davis, Bob and Vic and Katy Brand recreate the moves by dancing on car bonnets.

The skit will be shown during the BBC’s telly fundraiser this Friday.
