Towie’s Chloe Sims reveals Megan McKenna broke up with Pete Wicks ‘out of the blue’ leaving him ‘in tears’

CHLOE Sims has revealed Megan McKenna broke up with Pete Wicks "out of the blue".

The Towie stars confirmed their split earlier this month after a rollercoaster relationship which has played out on the ITVBe show.

Co-star Chloe Sims has been close to the latest action, advising Pete to open up to Megan before their split as well as being pictured consoling the 24-year-old during another tearful scene.

But during a chat with , Chloe, 34, admitted it was actually Pete's tears she had spent more time drying up.

She said: "They were happy, then she broke up with him out of the blue.

"Pete confides in me and he's been in tears. I feel really sorry for him."

Chloe's closeness to Pete was evident at last week's TRIC Awards, as she was pictured with her arm around the tattooed hunk's neck at the after party.

And Chloe revealed to the publication she was supporting Pete yet again after another bust up with his famously feisty ex.

She said: "They seemed fine at the TRIC Awards, then Megan started an argument and stormed out.

"I like Megan, but she baffles me when she does things like the tweeting and storming off.

"It makes me think, 'Does she want the attention?'"

As for the rumours she and Pete are anything more than friends, Chloe added in her column for the magazine: "There were rumours I got close to Pete at the TRIC Awards, but we're just good mates.

"He was annoyed because it makes him look bad with everything going on with Megan.

"He'd been in tears that night. As for people saying I'm interfering in their relationship - it's a TV show!"

Pete first confirmed the split to The Sun at the Awards, before Megan took to Twitter to furiously lash out at her ex.
