Holly Willoughby breaks down over bullying victims, the bereaved and woman who doesn’t want to wed her fiance in This Morning’s ‘most emotional phonecalls’
Holly and co-host Phillip Schofield rocked by callers' ordeals
HOLLY Willoughby is known for her caring nature and the This Morning host often becomes upset as she listens to harrowing phonecalls from viewers.
In a new clip recounting some of the ITV show's "most emotional phonecalls," Holly and her co-host Phillip Schofield become emotional as they hear from the parents of bullying victims, the bereaved and a woman who thinks her fiance is cheating on her.
Holly cries as a mother named Rebecca recounts how her son is being bullied at school and has told her he wants to commit suicide.
The lady said: "He's been bullied online and in school, he's been beaten up, he's just a mess.
"He's been called names, he's got no friends whatsoever, nobody comes round to see him, nobody phones.
"He's already told me how he's going to kill himself which is good in a sense because it means he's being open with me but I just don't know what to do."
When the caller reveals that her son's school "aren't interested" in helping the situation, Holly becomes visibly upset and says: "That's disgusting".
As she broke down on the phone, Holly put her head in her hands as she teared up while Rebecca told of how she's had to hide her pills and take away the cord of her son's dressing gown in case he tries to kill himself.
