On the show, he admitted: “I know full well that I’m a bit of an oddity, but sometimes oddities can be a bit of a nice surprise.”
Even though none of the judges turned round for his charming rendition of Accentuate the Positive, they couldn’t help but be won over by his personality.
Meanwhile, Joey managed to get into plenty of trouble during his time on the show and on the last episode of the second series, he set his sights on fellow celebrity Jorgie Porter - even though he had invited a date named Emily to join him.
"Oh my days. What a sort," Joey gasped as stunning actress Jorgie made her entrance in shimmering evening dress.

However dating expert Eden Blackman was quick to intervene - as the celebs on the dating books are not meant to mix together.
"Don't start that again, Joey!" Eden warned, before quickly beckoning Jorgie away, instructing: "Jorgie, come stand over here."
Last year, Joey made a mockery of the E4 dating show when he finally embarked on a romance with fellow celebrity contestant Stephanie Pratt.
