Rarely-seen couple Joaquin, 49, and Rooney, 39, put on a loved-up display at the fourth annual gala in Los Angeles last night.
And the Joker star wasn't shy in setting his partner's outfit right as photographers snapped away.
The actress laughed as Joaquin went down on one knee to ensure her gown was displayed just right for the cameras.
She looked stunning in a sheer, cream number with floral embellishments that flashed her underwear.
Rooney elevated her height with coordinating heels and wore her brunette locks in a tight bun - wearing a band on her ring finger.

Joaquin, meanwhile, put on a dapper display in a black tuxedo.
It comes just weeks after he sparked marriage speculation when he referred to Rooney as his “wife” on the podcast.
While discussing how he crafted his 2020 Oscars speech, the Napoleon lead revealed that the inspiration for his moving words came during a conversation with "his mum and his wife".
The pair got engaged in July 2019 after three years of dating.
