Danny Dyer ‘returns to EastEnders to discuss his comeback storyline after a month off’

DANNY Dyer has returned to EastEnders for a top secret meeting, it has been claimed.
The actor - who plays Mick Carter in the BBC soap - took a break from the show to deal with a host of personal issues in February but now the Daily Star report he has returned to the set to discuss his comeback storyline.
A source who did not wish to be named told the newspaper: "He dropped in to get his new scripts. He hasn't started filming just yet. But he is expected to return imminently.
"Everyone is looking forward to seeing him back in action. He's one of the soap's key stars."
The actor's prolonged break from EastEnders is beginning to cause problems for the writers as they try and work out a way to excuse him from key storylines, such as his grandmother's funeral.

However, according to the , producers feel he needs more time with his family who are concerned about his health, meaning scriptwriters are struggling to come up with ways to explain his absence - namely from the funeral of his character’s grandmother.
A source revealed: “It’s going to look very odd for Mick not to attend the funeral.
“But the writers are having to come up with some excuse as to why he cannot be there.
“We all know Danny comes first so the writers are working around the clock to tweak key stories.”
The 39-year-old actor recently went to South Africa to “sort his life out.”
A source who saw him greeting fans told The Sun: “Danny was looking a lot healthier and seemed to be glowing.
“He was happy to pose for pictures with fans and appeared to be in good spirits.”
