Towie star Lauren has recently revealed that being unable to have sex with her banged-up beau has made their relationship more "beautiful".
Speaking to Reveal magazine, Lauren insisted she'd never had the chance for an intimate relationship with Joey behind bars.
"No! Not in the UK, not in our prisons. But that's what makes our relationship old-fashioned, and it's quite beautiful," she said.
Crediting their “old-fashion” start to their romance for how well it’s going, Lauren admitted she tried to visit her man as much as possible, and he calls her three times a day.
Joey, 30, was locked up for 16 years for a string of violent drugs related charges, although Lauren claims that while he doesn’t have the best credentials on paper, he’s the best boyfriend she has ever had.
Lauren is now said to be wanting to join forces with Joey and bag a reality show deal for once he gets out.
A source exclusively told The Sun online: “Lauren is as business-savvy as they come, and she knows that a reality show about her and Joey would be ratings gold – and net them a big money network deal.
“By harnessing the power of social media while he’s inside, she’s made sure he’s got a good number of followers so he can hit the ground running when he gets out."
“Instagram wasn’t invented when Joey went to prison, but Lauren’ll show him the ropes.”
