Jeremy McConnell’s place on Ex On The Beach ‘in jeopardy’ after he was arrested on suspicion of assaulting Stephanie Davis
JEREMY McConnell's place on the new series of Ex On The Beach is in jeopardy following his arrest on suspicion of assaulting Stephanie Davis.
The Irish model had been lined up to star in the next season of the reality show, but his big money deal is now in doubt due to his legal troubles.
Jeremy, 27, was quizzed by cops in Liverpool yesterday as they probe allegations he was involved in a bust-up with his on/off girlfriend Steph, the mother of his baby son Caben-Albi.
The tattooed hunk denied "any wrong doing" in a statement released by his representatives, who insisted Jez will be "fully cooperating with the police in their investigations".
But an insider has told The Sun Online that the ongoing police probe has thrown his next reality TV project into jeopardy.
Bosses at MTV are said to be considering dropping him from the line-up of Ex On The Beach.
A source told us: "Jeremy has been called by EOTB regarding the assault allegations against him.
"Whilst there is still an ongoing investigation with the police regarding this MTV are considering dropping him from the latest series."

The pair have only recently revived their romance, and she was furious with him for making plans to go back to Ex On The Beach.
She even unfollowed him on Twitter and Instagram after she found out about it.
We previously revealed that Jez had signed up for the show just days after Steph's ex Sam Reece agreed to join the line-up - and producers were hoping for a dramatic confrontation between the pair.
Sam was dating Steph last year when she went into the Celebrity Big Brother house and cheated on him with Jez.
The Sun Online reached out to a representative at MTV, but they declined to comment.
A spokesperson for production company Whizz Kid Entertainment also declined to comment.
A representative for Jeremy had not returned a request for comment.
The alleged altercation between Jez and Steph happened in Liverpool on Thursday, March 9 and police were notified when a statement was given to them the following Sunday.
The term 'released pending a disposal decision' means the investigation is continuing and the person is still involved in that investigation.
