NICOLE Kidman fans think they’ve worked out the real reason for her awkward fashion week clash with Salma Hayek.
Australian actress Nicole, 57, is accused of slapping down Salma, 58, by telling her "don't touch me".
She scowled at Salma whose husband François-Henri Pinault owns Balenciaga, which she's a brand ambassador of, as they appeared to disagree in front of photographers.
And now, after the video went viral, fans think they’ve realised why Nicole acted the way she did towards Salma.
Online, people have speculated that Nicole simply didn’t want her picture taken, and so it didn’t go down well when Salma appeared to be directing her towards the cameras.
One person wrote: “It just seems like Nicole didn’t want to take a photo as the photographer was directing her to. Salma did say “She doesn’t want to take it” to the photographer.”

A second added: “It just looked like Salma was willing to pose and Nicole was done with it.”
A third person said: “If Nicole doesn't want to be touched, especially since she said she didn't want to take a picture, Salma shouldn't put her hands on her.”
A fourth person wrote: “Salma wanted a pic with Nicole for publicity. Nicole didn't care about getting a pic with Salma. So funny how the photographer speaks like he has some type of authority over the situation when he clearly doesn't.”
The pair are believed to have been asked to pose together as they were stood with pop star Katy Perry.
