MEGAN McKenna has blasted her ex-boyfriend Pete Wicks on Twitter and confirmed their relationship is "over".

The Towie star took to Twitter on Tuesday night to lash out at her former beau after he exclusively told The Sun they were no longer dating.

Clearly angry, Megan wrote: "Enough of the sh**... yes me and pete have split. I was keeping quite out of respect for him [sic].

"But as he's been 'blabbing' and bragging about other TV shows I will now confirm we are OVER.

"And have been over for a while. End of the speculations. Now let me move on with my life. Thanks."

Megan was clearly referring to Pete's admission at the TRIC Awards that he would like to do Celebs Go Dating while confirming their split.

Pete took fellow Towie cast member James Lock as his date to Tuesday's ceremony, avoiding an awkward run-in with Megan who was also at the telly bash.

Speaking at the event before discovering what Pete had said, Megan diplomatically told The Sun: "It’s a bit complicated at the moment.
