BENIDORM star Sherrie Hewson has revealed she was bombarded by the pictures of men’s privates after she tried online dating.
The Loose Women star revealed her shock when she was greeted with the lewd snaps of men’s genitals, some of which she said were “bent” and “funny colours”.
The 66-year-old claimed she was put off the male member for life after she saw Corrie co-star Ken Morley’s private parts on the set of the soap.
Sherrie said of her internet dating experiences: "Well, I went online, but they sent me photos of penises! I went, ‘What’s that? Oh!’ I hadn’t seen one for so long! Some were bent, and funny colours.”
She recalled the water bed scene she did as Maureen in the ITV soap along with Morley’s Reg Holdsworth.
She said: “It was a fantastic scene. Reg was wooing Maureen, but we could only do one take because there was actually water in the bed.

“They said, ‘Whatever you do, just keep going, whatever you say, because it’s one take’. So I was under the cover, he had nothing on but a towel, so we’re running around and he dropped his towel.
“Well, that’s what has probably done me in for the rest of my life, the image of that thing staring at me! I will never get over that sight."
She also said that outside of Britain people “revere” older women and find them desirable.
Hewson added: “We chuck them out, get them out, stick them on the dust heap. Anybody over probably 40 in England is getting old, and I just think we’re a sad country, aren’t we?”
She said: “The only television show in the world that’s not ageist is Loose Women. We’ve got Janet, who’s 70, and people like Vicky Pattison who’s about 28, and everybody in between. Now, long may that reign."
The actress admitted she finds it “impossible” to meet someone but she would be interested in getting involved with a person who is “very rich”. She said if she had the money she would set up an animal sanctuary.
