"It was one of the worst things I have had to tell someone in my life."
The Irish reality star previously revealed his mother, brother and sister all died within months of each other.
In a statement, Jeremy’s representative told The Sun Online at the time: “On Friday 3rd March 2017 Jeremy McConnell’s father passed away after a short battle with cancer.
“We ask that Jeremy is given space and privacy at this incredibly sad time.”
Elsewhere in the tell-all chat, Stephanie insisted while she's not back together with Jeremy, they're working to put their pasts behind them for the sake of Caben-Albi.
Speaking for the first time about the horrifying moment, Steph told the mag he had been suffering from a blocked up nose, and eventually "held his breath" for a few seconds.
Having told Jeremy, he rushed to meet his son in A&E, before finally speaking to Steph about his past mistakes.
The actress admitted she was "bricking it" waiting for him to arrive, and felt "all over the place".
Describing the moment Jez came face to face with his son for the first time, Steph admitted he "welled up" and she immediately hugged him, putting their differences aside.
The pair eventually ended up discussing their past differences, and Jeremy apologised for ever denying he was Caben's father.
The former couple slept at the hospital together to be close to their son, and doctors have now revealed their hopes that Caben will eventually "grow out of" his blocked up nose problem.
Steph added: "Once we got things off our chest we agreed to leave it all in the past for Caben's sake. It wouldn't be fair on him if we kept throwing things back in each other's faces."
The adorable picture comes just days after the reality star attended his father's funeral in Dublin with Stephanie.
The adorable picture shows Caben dressed in a light blue baby grow as he smiles up at dad Jeremy who can't take his eyes off the newborn.
He simply captioned it: "❤👊".
Stephanie gave birth to baby Caben on January 13.
