ABBA’s hit virtual concert Voyage has generated HUGE sum as ticket sales totalled £103.6m

ABBA’S virtual concert Voyage has taken £200million, figures show.
Ticket sales totalled £103.6million in its first full year of 2023.
That followed sales of £97.1million in 2022 after its opening that May.
ABBA Voyage features 3D avatars of the Swedish quartet performing hits from the 1970s and ’80s in a theatre in Stratford, East London.
The sums are revealed in accounts for Aniara Limited, which runs the show with 113 employees.
It is owned by ABBA star Benny Andersson’s company Goldloder.
His company invested more than £57million in the project.
Goldloder made £8million profits in 2023 and £5.8million in 2022.
The ABBA money-making machine also includes their back catalogue of hit songs as well as the film and theatre show Mamma Mia!
