Towie’s Megan McKenna pleads with on-off boyfriend Pete Wicks to go to couples counselling to save their relationship
The couple have called it quits since the scenes were filmed
MEGAN McKenna begged Pete Wicks to go to couples counselling on the latest episode of Towie, which was filmed before the pair split.
The Sun exclusively revealed the couple had deleted each other off social media and were taking a break after months of non-stop rows.
During tonight's episode, Megan quizzed Pete about what was getting him down and suggested they seek professional help in order to deal with their problems.
Megan had mentioned couples counselling to him earlier in the show but Pete didn't seem interested and so she pushed him on it again.
She told him: "I thought you wasn't taking it very seriously...the counselling...basically I just felt like you was mugging me off about it.
"You need to be more open with me."
Pete replied saying: "I get down about loads of things and I take it out on you and that's the problem. It ain't you that's the problem but I think people think it's you."

Megan agreed adding: "I think we need to see someone so you can start voicing what's going on in your head.
"I just feel like the way is going, it could end badly."
Naturally, fans took to Twitter to voice their views on the relationship.
One wrote: "If you need couples counselling when you haven't been together for even a year you need to accept that you shouldn't be together... 😐 #TOWIE".
Another said: "If you're talking about couples counselling after just a year together I'm gonna go ahead and suggest it's time to get the hell out.. #TOWIE".
A third added: "Pete n Megan have not been 2getha long enough to need counselling. @itvbe #TOWIE".
Meanwhile, The Sun also revealed Megan and Pete will hide the details of their split to keep fans guessing.
Pete also refused to discuss their relationship, simply saying "it's a nightmare" when quizzed about what's going on between them.
