Spencer Matthews has been crowned the winner of The Jump 2017
Made In Chelsea star beat Louis Smith to take home the coveted Cowbell Trophy
SPENCER Matthews has been crowned the winner of The Jump 2017.
The Made In Chelsea star beat Olympian Louis Smith after breaking the 'Jump' record set by Sid Owen.
In what was a dramatic finish, the final four took to the top of the slope to take the jump once last time.
Louis, Spencer, Jason Robinson and Amy Willerton haD one jump each to try and win the show with the best score taking home the top prize.
Jason jumped first with a leap of 16.35m but Louis's impressive jump of 18.05 knocked him out.
Amy was the last woman standing and was also in with a chance of being the first woman to win The Jump.
However, it wasn’t meant to be as her nerves got the better of her and she fell on landing which meant her jump was discounted and she was disqualified.
Clearly disappointed, the former Miss GB asked if she could go again but presenter Davina McCall had to tell her no.
Finally, Spencer took to the top of the slopes and was determined to beat Louis and achieve a personal best.
He gave it his best shot and jumped an incredible 18.98metres, not only winning this year's series but also but beating the all-time record which was 18.85m.
