Rochelle Humes frames her dehydrated umbilical cord and reveals she will take placenta pills after giving birth to second child
The TV presenter welcomed her second child on Friday with hubby Marvin Humes
ROCHELLE Humes has found a unique way to commemorate the birth of her new baby daughter - and had the umbilical cord dehydrated and framed.
The Sun’s Bizarre column revealed how Rochelle and husband Marvin Humes had their second child, Valentina Raine, on Friday.
Today, the TV presenter posted a picture of the cord shaped into the word 'love' and framed to hang in the baby's nursery.
She also revealed her intention to take placenta pills - which are believed to contain health benefits for a new mum.
The 27-year-old captioned the pic: "After being very curious I took the plunge, so excited to feel the benefits..."
In order to create the pills, the baby's placenta is dehydrated and ground down before being placed into capsules for the mother to then take.
The move has divided fans over whether or not it's a good idea - and they expressed their opinions in the Instagram feed under the pic.

Some other new mums applauded her decision to ingest the placenta, as one wrote: "I had my second daughter two weeks ago and encapsulated my placenta and also had a placenta smoothie an hour after birth which was fab.....i am so glad I decided to utilise this natural organ after birth because I don't feel like I've had a baby and feel fab inside and out. I'm also back into my size 8 jeans ALREADY.....highly recommended"
Another agreed and said: "Love this !!!!! 😍😍 well done! You will feel the benefits. Restoring all that goodness. Uneducated people will say it's 'gross' ... ignore! X"
