Wayne Rooney’s one-year-old son Kit gets his first job as a baby toy tester for mum Coleen
Baby Kit has been testing out new toys with mum Coleen Rooney as part of her job as brand ambassador for toy company Lamaze
LITTLE Kit Rooney has bagged his first job - as a baby toy tester for his mum.
The one-year-old boy has been putting various toys through their paces after mum Coleen was named as brand ambassador for Lamaze.
The 30-year-old mum of three has built up a portfolio of sponsorship deals while married to - and is a successful businesswoman in her own right.
And she loves nothing more than spending time with baby Kit testing out new musical and play products with him.
A source said: “As the mother of three young kids, Coleen was seen as the perfect person to be a brand ambassador.
“Her older two aren’t as interested in the toys as they are really aimed at newborns and babies, but Kit has been a big factor in Coleen’s research.
“He gets hold of all the new toys and then she tells the company which ones he likes and why. “It’s like his first job and he seems to really enjoy it.”
Lamaze, which creates each toy with input from child development experts, hired Coleen as brand ambassador last year.
She said: “It’s such a nice brand, my kids love the toys. You get a mother and child bond playing together - there are musical ones and lots of different colours.”

She has since posted various pictures on Twitter of Kit playing with his toys, including one where she said: “Kit loves his Oscar, happy tunes around our house.”
Children of other famous footballers have also been snapped up by advertising brands.
Romeo Beckham, 14, has already modelled for Burberry while his older brother Brooklyn, 18, has also modelled for the British fashion house and Polish label Reserved.
He also appeared in a music video for boyband The Vamps.
