Calvin Harris ends long-running feud with ex Rita Ora as he lifts music ban on their collaborated material
After their toxic break-up in 2014 Rita was banned from performing I Will Never Let You Down
LONG before TAYLOR SWIFT and KATY PERRY had ever said a bad word to one another, the only showbiz feud everyone was talking about was CALVIN HARRIS and RITA ORA.
The former couple’s public bust up turned toxic back in 2015 when Calvin refused to let Rita use any of the material he had collaborated with her on for her album - and in turn banned her from performing their No1 single I Will Never Let You Down.
So we were thrilled to discover the pair recently set aside their differences to clear the air and things are so much better between the pair that Calvin has lifted his music ban.
That means Rita will finally be allowed to belt out the catchy chart-topper in future performances and even include it on her long awaited second album if she wishes.
A source said: “Late last year they got in touch and sorted things out.
"It was such a relief to both of them that they could move on and put things behind them.
"At the end of the day they had a lot of good times together and it was sad that was tainted by how bitter the split was at times.
“But things are really good now although they are not so close they’re heading out to dinner anytime soon or anything.

“But Rita is now back in touch with a lot of Calvin’s industry friends and able to work on music with them and, most importantly, able to perform I Will Never Let You Down.
“She’s gearing up for her second album soon and it’s great to be able to perform arguably her biggest hit when she’s doing promo for it.”
The couple ended their relationship back in 2014.
If Calvin and Rita can patch things up, maybe there’s hope for some of showbiz’s other long running feuds as well.
