EAMONN Holmes admitted his days of independence are over in an emotional video where he pleaded with followers to adopt a dog.
The former ITV presenter used to share a pooch with his ex wife Ruth Langsford, but lost custody of the fur baby after they split.
In a recent video he posted to social media, Eamonn can be seen lovingly petting another black dog - which looks similar to his own Maggie.
He captioned the clip: "Think about giving Bella a Home.
Eamonn sadly added: "If I could walk and look after myself she would be mine but instead you could be me.
"Talk to @TheK9Angels . Absolutely lovely Doggie."

Followers were quick to encourage him, with one reaching out to say: "Oh she is lovely. Hopefully you will get stronger and be able to get another dog."
Another added: "I hope you will be able to walk/ look after yourself soon and give one of these dogs a happy home once again. Sending you positive vibes Eamonn."
The former This Morning host has been seen using a wheelchair recently after chronic back pain left him unable to walk.
His health took a nosedive in 2021 when he suffered from a dislocated pelvis, and shortly after, three slipped discs.

The TV presenter admitted that the pain has led to him having countless "sleepless nights".
Ruth previously said that she was uneasy about the amount of medication he needed to relieve his pain.
Despite his health battle Eamonn has recently been spotted enjoying a luxury cruise with his new girlfriend, Katie Alexander.
He got around with the help of an electric wheelchair as the couple flew to Barcelona to board Virgin Voyager’s Scarlet Lady.
The ship has been referred to as "a sanctuary at sea", and has room for up to 2,700 adult passengers.
Eamonn and Katie travelled along Spanish, Italian and French coasts on the luxury liner - and she has been referring to him as her "soulmate" since the romantic holiday.
