APPLE TV+ bosses want to film a multi- million-pound Beatles-style documentary about the Oasis reunion tour.
It will follow Noel and Liam Gallagher in the run-up to their hugely anticipated gigs next summer.
An insider told The Sun on Sunday: “This is set to be the film of the decade, with Apple TV+ proposing huge money to bag the rights to this documentary.
“They are facing competition from other streamers such as Amazon Prime and Netflix but Apple have thrown all their weight behind this one.
“Fans can expect it to be in the same style as the Beatles documentary which gave a never-before-seen insight into the band.”
In 2021, Disney+ released Get Back, which followed Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr making The Beatles’ 1970 album Let It Be.

Noel, 57, and Liam, who turned 52 yesterday — both massive Beatles fans — are due to play 17 gigs next year across the UK and Ireland, kicking off at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium in July.
The tour is set to rake in £400million after the brothers ended their 15-year feud.
It comes as The Sun on Sunday understands that the Gallagher brothers are on better terms than they have been for decades.
Noel first hinted at a reconciliation when he praised Liam last month.

Likening their voices to drinks, he said: “Mine’s half a Guinness on a Tuesday. It’s all right. Liam’s is ten shots of tequila on a f***ing Friday night.”
He added: “When I’d sing a song it would sound good, when he’d sing it, it would sound great.”
On Friday, Oasis are also set to announce the dates for a US tour.
They are expected to play in New York and LA plus Chicago and Boston.
And they hope to avoid a repeat of the tickets fiasco which unfolded when the home gigs went on sale.
The Competition and Markets Authority has since launched a probe into the “dynamic pricing” of tickets.
