GOOD Morning Britain host Ben Shephard urged viewers to "bear with" the presenting team today as he admitted they were "bleary eyed" following a boozy night at Kate Garraway's book launch.
Kate launched her first novel about the plus points of ageing, The Joy of Big Knickers, at Waterstones in London yesterday.
Her co-presenter pals including Charlotte Hawkins and Piers Morgan were on hand to celebrate alongside her and Ben revealed the TV bunch had a VERY good time - and just two hours' sleep.
He opened today's ITV show by telling viewers: "We are all a little bit blurry eyed here on the desk this morning.
"So bear with us. Lots of coffee flowing."
Kate replied: "We had quite a night last night didn't we? I had a little bit of a bash.
"I will tell you about Ben Shephard's 'responsible' drinking later."
Ben then quickly lifted the lid on more of their antics and added: "I'm surprised you can remember from last night."

Kate tried to protest she had been "good" with her alcohol intake, to which Ben bluntly replied: "No you weren't!"
The presenters then giggled at the reality of Kate, who soon reaches her 50th birthday, actually writing a book, joking she struggled to even compose a Twitter message.
Kate wrote the book about facing life at 50, and tackles issues like whether she would have plastic surgery, and how you get love to last a lifetime.
A proud Kate then revealed her literary debut had reached the number one spot in the Ageing book charts.
They even took the title of the tome literally, with Ben admitting he and Piers had shared Kate's pants on launch night.
Charlotte quipped: "I think you had better explain that one!" with some viewers at home left confused.
One took to Twitter to share a snap of the event, while another wrote: "Wish I looked like you after a night of drinking you look amazing this morning xx"
Their co-presenter Susanna Reid, who was not at work today, shared her sadness she couldn't make last night's bash and wrote: "Gutted that filming meant I missed the party for 's but watching , looks like it was a good one ."
