Towie’s Amber Turner hits back at ex-boyfriend Jamie Reed claiming he’s acting the ‘victim’ as she moves on with new love Dan Edgar
AMBER Turner has hit back at ex-boyfriend Jamie Reed claiming he’s acting the “victim” for the sake of the cameras.
The Towie star blames Jamie for their relationship turning sour as she insists his nasty behaviour means there’s no chance of a reunion.
In an exclusive chat with The Sun’s Bizarre she said: “In my head I want things to be amicable between us but the way he’s dealt with things means we can’t be.
“He’s been playing the victim and has fooled people into thinking he’s worse off.
“Jamie’s been enjoying this all; he’s said some really nasty things about me. He’s been tweeting and posting cryptic quotes and proper playing on it.
“He’s not acted respectively and it’s pushed me away even more.
“We had so many rows and upsets that I never told anyone. I didn’t even tell my mum. It is a huge release and like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders now we’re not together.”
The couple ended their four year relationship after it was rumoured that Amber had cheated on Jamie with Towie’s Dan Edgar.
While Amber confirms her and Dan are now dating – she claims their closeness was not the reason she ended her relationship with Jamie.
Amber revealed to the Sun Online she faked her perfect relationship with Jamie for years as she felt too embarrassed to admit he was “controlling” and they were “no longer intimate.”
She said: “Dan and I aren’t anything serious, we’re just getting to know each other, we had a discussion and decided we are now seeing each other.
“We lived together but spent no time with each other, we were in a rut, we never saw one another, we never did nice things, it was just nothing, and we were just roommates.
“I was often so tired after work that we stopped being intimate and it just killed all passion, which would really grate on him.
“But the chemistry and passion just wasn’t there, it would sometimes come back on holiday, but once that spark has gone it’s impossible to get back.”
Meanwhile, Jamie believes the pair’s romance has been plagued with cheating claims, after previously receiving a mystery text saying Amber had bedded a footballer.
He said: “I received a text message when she was in Marbella last year.
“It said ‘Amber the game is up, Jamie is a friend to many and you have been found out. You have until the end of today to admit you stayed in a footballer’s hotel room.’
“The message was very upsetting but I trusted her 100 per cent – now I’m thinking that’s true too.”
