Stephanie Davis celebrates her first birthday as a mum after supporting Jeremy McConnell at his dad’s funeral
STEPHANIE Davis has celebrated her first birthday as a mum.
The former Hollyoaks actress welcomed her son, Caben-Albi, in January, and on Wednesday she marked her 24th birthday.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote: "First birthday as a Mummy I'm so lucky. Thanks for all the Birthday Wishes".
Stephanie added a number of heart emojis and balloons to her post, clearly in the mood to celebrate after a tough few days supporting Caben's dad Jeremy McConnell after his own father passed away.
The star flew to Ireland with heartbroken Jeremy to be by his side at the funeral.
Stephanie was seen arriving in Dublin with Jeremy on Tuesday morning after the couple flew in from Liverpool along with his best friend Ray Quinlan.
There was no sign of their son, who will be two months old on Monday, meaning his Irish family will have to wait a little longer until they get to meet him.
A source exclusively told The Sun Online: "Jeremy is absolutely heartbroken by the death of his dad.
"After suffering so much tragedy and sadness in his life at such a young age, it's made him more determined than ever to have a strong family unit with Stephanie and Caben.
"The last year he didn't behave his best to Steph, but he's now seen the error of his ways and wants to provide a stable and loving home for his boy."
But it seems she has had a change of heart - no doubt brought on by seeing just how distraught her partner is.
The source added: "The fact that Steph jetted to be with him has meant so much to him, he needs her now more than ever.
"Today will be one of the hardest days of his life."
It's the latest blow for the male model who has also lost his mum and siblings in a series of tragic events.
The Irish reality star previously revealed his mother, brother and sister all died within 15 months of each other.
